:: Las Vegas Mountain View Pathfinder Club ::
Pray First – Start with prayer. Ask God to guide your heart and use you for His purpose as you serve.
Be Reliable – Your presence matters. Showing up consistently builds trust with both the Pathfinders and fellow staff.
Lead by Example – Demonstrate Christ-like character, patience, and enthusiasm. Kids are watching—and learning from—you.
Stay Flexible – Plans can change, especially with youth ministry. A flexible, servant-hearted attitude goes a long way.
Get Involved – Don’t be afraid to jump in! Help with activities, games, honors, camping trips, or even simply listening to a child who needs encouragement.
Build Relationships – Take time to get to know the Pathfinders. Strong relationships are the foundation for meaningful mentorship.
Know the Objective – Familiarize yourself with the Pathfinder pledge, law, and objectives. They’re more than words—they’re a mission.
Keep Learning – Ask questions, attend training sessions, and learn from experienced leaders. Growth helps you serve better.
Have Fun! – Joy is contagious. Smile, laugh, and enjoy the journey with the kids and fellow volunteers.
Remember the Impact – Even small acts of service can lead to lifelong spiritual growth in a young person’s life.
